Jewish Zines

After the October 7th Hamas terror attack, brutal Israeli counterattack, and subsequent hostage crisis in Gaza, I saw a lot of misinformation and ignorance spread online about Jewish culture and history, especially regarding our complex relationship to Israel/Palestine. I decided to make a zine about the history of Zionism, a sprawling Jewish political movement that for good and ill has had a profound affect on our people in the Diaspora and in the State of Israel. The goal of these zines wasn’t so much to change anyone’s views, but to put information out there that was as accurate and nuanced as possible. Nobody is free of bias – certainly not me. My hope is to put forth a point of view that might not have been previously considered, by some.

Each comic is 8 pages, which is enough to print double sided on a piece of letter size paper. They were made to be shared, in the digital and physical world alike. At least one Jewish educator has used them in their materials, an honor.
